The ACS teaching
faculty:
MaryJo Zalac, Kindergarten
MaryJo earned her elementary teacher
credentials in 1994 from Humboldt State University.
She has taught for 13 years with 8 years as a
Kindergarten teacher. Maryjo joined the ACS
staff in September 2003.

Dinah Bartolotta,
First and Second Grade
Dinah
received her AA degree from Taft Junior College, her
B.A. degree and teacher credential following
coursework at Humboldt State University. Dinah
taught at Redwood Christian School from 1986 to
1999. She joined the ACS staff in September of
1999.

Vickie Childress, Third
and Fourth Grade
Vickie is a graduate of
Arcata High School, attended College of the
Redwoods and received her B.A. degree from Humboldt
State University in 1988. She received her
California State Teaching Credential following
course work at Humboldt State University.
Vickie is a staff member of the Messiah School of
the Arts. She has been employed at ACS since
1990.

Betty Packer, 5-8 English
Mrs. Betty Packer received her B.A. degree in
English from HSU with a minor in Speech
Communications. She earned her California
State Teaching Credential from HSU. She has
taught (at ACS) as a primary teacher (grades 1st &
2nd) and most recently returned in 2006 as our 5-8
English teacher. From 1987-1990, Mrs. Packer
served as 7th & 8th Grade Language Arts instructor
for the Alvord Unified School District in Riverside,
CA. Her other experiences include; teaching at
Tsurai Children's Center, assistant director for
dramatic production, instructor for Gifted and
Talented Education, newspaper and yearbook editor.

Michael Childress - 7-8 Bible

Debbie Loudermilk,
Social Studies
Mrs.
Loudermilk is a graduate of El Monte High
School, received her B.A. degree from Bethel College
in St. Paul Minnesota and her teaching credential
through Humboldt State University. She
received her M.Ed. degree, specializing in
Integrated Curriculum and Instruction, from
Covenant College in Lookout Mountain in Georgia.
Debbie has been employed with ACS since 1991.
She has taught Bible, math, and social studies
courses while at ACS.


Ron Wunner, Principal
Ron is
graduate of Sir Francis Drake High School (Marin
County), and attended College of Marin. He
received his B.A. degree from Humboldt State
University majoring in Psychology. He completed
additional coursework in the HSU teacher education
program and taught one year for the Orick School
District. He was the main grant writer for the
funding of Wolf Creek Camp currently administered by
the National Park Service. He has taught K-12
classes and coached both boy's and girl's sports
while at ACS. Ron has participated as a member of an
Association of Christian Schools Convocation Team in
Samara, Russia. He is currently ACSI District
Representative for the North Coastal area.
